I am very friendly and connected with pets usually they warm up to me or are excited to meet me on sight. It all began when grandmother had a French poodle for me named Pixie that I was raised caring for until she had to be put down when I was 16. Thereafter I would visit and care for the pets of friends and neighbors. Trustworthy is the standard with me. I have pet sat for roommates and my landlord also. Dogs or cats are fine although I have also cared for other animals as well. I am proud to share that I did my first pet rescue randomly last summer when a chihuahua was lost and running in the street. I was the only person she would come to after numerous people made an attempt to capture her. It's a great story that I enjoy telling, because I was proud I could do that and not be fearful of the risks. As irony would have it after staying with her all day and seeking a safe foster home until I could find her owner because I can not keep pets where I live, the foster home found her owner the same night and she was safely back home. I followed up with the family to make sure that their pet was safely returned and when we met up as luck would have it, the dog belonged to a former student of mine. Her aunt recognized me from a school visit. They brought the dog "Zoe" to say hello as well. It was definitely more than a happy ending. I really can't say much more than that about why I would be a good choice. An added perk is that I tend to be a bit of a neatnik and you will probably enjoy that your pet's space is left clean and orderly and I would respect your home in that manner. I am self employed primarily and decide my own schedule so flexibility and consistency within my community of clients is highly valued. We cooperate with kindness. I do not have pets at home to work around. My client's pets are cared for in a dedicated way 100% like my own or better.
