Pet care experience
I'm an Alaskan photographer recently moved to Washington, looking for interesting work. I professionally House and Pet-sat for almost a decade in my hometown of Ketchikan, Alaska. Animals crack me up and I love taking them on hikes and adventures! If there are any trails in walking distance of your house, that could benefit me and your pup! I'm an avid hiker! One of my favorite parts about pet-sitting in Alaska was walking dogs on long adventures in the mountains. I'm not necessarily looking for pet sitting work in Washington though, I generally would like to know the family very well. I look forward to walking dogs of all ranges of fitness - but if you have a very active dog we should get along very well!
Reviews
Marc was a dog sitter for me for many years when I was out of town (he simultaneously was a house sitter!). He did an amazing job with our dog (and house). He cared for him, he took him on walks in the woods, to the beach, in town. His compassion and care continued as the dog aged, and had increasing difficulty walking. Again, Marc was up to the job. I recommend him with no reservations. He loves dogs, and will responsibly care for your dog as though it was his own.
I'm so particular with who watches my dog and Marc is one of the few people I trust him with. He has so much fun with dogs and also takes amazing dog photos! Genuinely caring and keeps pets safe. Dogs have a great time with Marc!

Information Marc O. would like to know about your pet
I would definitely want to know the physical fitness level of the dog. So we don't overdo it. Also I would like to know if the dog needs to me to pay special attention in the case we bump into other animals and people.
A typical day
I would hope to be walking in nature or a woodsy neighborhood.
