Pet care experience
I have grown up in a family that has owned multiple pets at one time. My first dog was given to me when I was 15. I have grown up since then to own multiple dogs and grow a bond with each one. In that time I have previously dog sat and did dog walking in college for a couple years and found it was the most fulfilling and enjoyable job I ever had. Today I have one dog of my own who is impeccably trained and the best friend you could ever have and decided we make a great team!

Marc took impeccable care of my dog. We’re always worried about who can handle our big, needy boy, but Marc took Jackson out for long walks, doted on him, and had a great companion for him in his own dog Drake. So many pictures of their adventures, it was like Jax went on his own vacation. Absolutely would recommend Marc to anyone. I’m so happy and my dog hasn’t stopped smiling, I think he wanted to stay with Marc and Drake forever!
Marc was amazing with Yoshi! I recieved a lot of updates and pictures without prompting. Yoshi was taken out to the parks twice a day and loved playing with Drake. Thank you again for taking him on last minute.

For smaller animals or less than 5 dogs a I have a apartment with large yard. I also have another house that I use with a fenced in yard. I also have a great knowledge of hiking spots and fenced in parks to go for walks as well. Due to being blessed with a job that gives me the freedom to do whatever I like and make my own schedule the dogs are rarely if not ever out of my sight. When your dog is under my care the are my number one responsibility. My dog saved my life so I like to return the favor. I personally would not want to board my dog drake in a kennel or a place that charges absurd prices to only let the dogs out to play intermittently I also would be disappointed if I boarded him at a place that he is left alone for hours at a time, I try to look at every customer and their animal through that exact lens. When your buddy stays with us you can rest easy knowing that he or she is under the care of a safe, attentive, loving dog owner and caregiver.

It’s good to know before hand if your dog can be off leash I also need to know if they have any issues with other animals as well as any allergies.
A typical day
A typical day depends on the dog. If you have a active dog who is dog friendly and good off leash we will go for trip to some of me an drakes favorite places either the Salisbury Dog Park where there is a lake and a fenced in dog park for large and small dogs. I also have a dog who loves to play so we can also stay here at the apartment because we have quite a sizable yard that is contained. I work from home so I will be in barking distance from your buddy all day so any time they want to go out and play or have a treat or two I’ll be there. It’s important to know your dog is my first priority period and that the amount of attention and care they will be getting is unmatched opposed to any kennel or part time caregiver. I also try to understand that times are hard and I wanted my prices to reflect that as well.

Availability
I am a professional artist so pet care integrates perfectly with my lifestyle. I work from my studio at home which blesses me with the ability to build a schedule around my studio work. Me and drake are quite active due to the freedom my job gives me I know every park and cool hiking trail within a hour distance from our house. Our home park switches from The Salisbury dog park to the Torrington one but we have a beautiful daily go to trail that runs down the river which is a four minute drive from our house and has spots where we can take breaks and swim safely. Our favorite park which I try to take almost every dog under my care unless there is a health or age restriction.
