Pet care experience
I consider the needs of each individual dog and the amount of exercise and training they need to be physically and mentally healthy. I love working with dogs of all ages, breeds, energy levels, and temperaments. I truly believe that dogs are mans best friend and an honor to have in our lives. I want to make life rewarding for the dogs and the people that care for them. I have cared for dogs starting from puppyhood or adulthood, with or without previous issues so I am considerate to the needs of various types of temperaments and breeds. I enjoy bringing dogs and owners to a point in their lives where they can enjoy each other’s company while understanding the needs of each other. I am available during the day, most evenings, and weekends. When I am not home my husband is so someone is always available to help care with the dogs. He shares the same love and understanding of dogs that I do. Dogs of any kind are always welcome!

Mia had a great stay with Mara! While boarding over the weekend, Mara took Mia on an outing to a pumpkin patch and Mia ran and played daily in the yard with Mara's three dogs. Mia became a welcomed member of the family pack. Mara sent photos and videos of Mia playing with everyone so we could see what Mia was up to. Mara is great with all of the dogs and Mia came home happy and tired.
Mara sent wonderful detailed information about Boru’s walks and photographs. We felt he was in good hands!
Mara and her family were very welcoming of Timber. She was willing to meet us twice before we booked our stay which helped ease our minds about leaving Timber with someone new for the first time. She spent time making sure he fit in with her dogs and cat, and even spent some one on one time with him. He is a tired but happy pup!

A typical day
We live out in the country with 7 acres to ourselves to play on. I love walking with pups too young/old and run dogs of appropriate age/breed. I love playing fetch as long as the dogs do and love to socialize and train with them in a controlled environment until they are ready for the real deal. I take pride in training so that my dogs can live fully going on car rides or walks in town.
