Pet care experience
The first thing worth noting is that I love animals! I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I know the worries a pet owner has when it comes to anyone else caring for their furry family members. You can rest assured that your pet will be treated as one of my own. I own a home with a large fenced in yard that your pet will have full access to. I work from home so your pet will definitely get plenty of attention! I will provide you with plenty of updates and pictures so you can know how your pets stay is going! We were a little anxious leaving our dog for the first time with a Rover sitter. Our original sitter fell through kind of last minute but I’m actually so glad it did because Mara was great! She immediately put our minds at ease and sent us lots of photos and videos throughout Luna’s stay. It was obvious that she was having a great time and was being cared for really well! I would definitely recommend Mara to anyone & if we ever need to leave Luna again, we won’t hesitate to ask her!
Mara was such a wonderful sitter! She watched Strider for daycare, and when we went to drop him off for boarding, Strider was pulling like crazy to get to Mara. He absolutely loves being there! Her dog, Jack, is such a kind, playful dog, and our pup and Jack were good friends right away. And she sent photo updates, which was great. I highly recommend booking with Mara. I'm so glad we found her!
First time use Rover, I made a right choice! Mara is a really dog lover. She sent me pictures of my puppy every day, it was really reassuring. My puppy was not good at social but she made friends with Mara’s dog. She seems missing her friends when she came back home. Definitely will send my dog there again!
Winter had SO MUCH FUN!!! I'm so happy I found Mara, and her puppy Jackson is adorable. Him and Winter became the best of friends! I received plenty of videos and photos while we were away, and I could tell Winter was having a doggy vacation of her own :). I will definitely book Mara again!

A typical day
While in my care your dog will go on multiple walks a day and have unlimited access to a spacious fenced in yard. If your dog likes water, I have a small pool set up for the pups to play in. I usually like to take the dogs on some sort of outing daily to either the beach or dog park. If for any reason your dog can't participate in something like that (senior dog, illness) we can take short strolls and find less intense activities to do outside.
