There’s nothing I love more than getting to provide a pup with the love and care that they need. I love to see their smiling faces when they are in their element! That’s why I became a dog sitter: to give back to pups! They give so much to us, so I want to make sure they’re taken care of as well. I also know how difficult it can be to find quality care as an owner, so I’m here to fill that role too! I’ve grown up taking care of pups! I have taken care of dogs that need medicine on a daily basis, and puppies that need to go outside every hour, everything in between! I love all dogs. I also do have two pups of my own, Nala and Oscar are the sweetest things! They have met so many best-dog friends through Rover!! Additionally, I have taken care of cats; I love their snuggles! I currently work full time; but I will spend every other moment loving on your pet! Also I have additional hands in my home who can help with potty breaks while I’m working during the week! So I’m a good fit for pups that are used to their human working during the day, but giving lots of love and exercise during the early morning and evening! Let me take amazing care of your fur babies for you! I always like to schedule a meet and greet when taking on a new client. I find that it’s a great way to make sure that we’re a good fit for one another, and we get to talk face to face about what makes your pup tick! During a meet and greet, it’s always important to crouch down and hold your hand out flat towards the dog avoiding direct eye contact. That way I don’t come off as aggressive. Then once they get to know me, I try to find their favorite toy and play with them a bit, creating a bond. I always become fast friends with pups! I’ve taken care of all different types of dogs, so I have no breed preferences. When your pup is under my care, my number one priority is providing excellent service for you and your pooch. Excellent customer service for you means following your instructions to a “T” and sending you daily photographs of your furry friend and I having tons of fun! I love giving you updates about how their day has been with me! Best service for your furry friend? Tons of love and attention, exercise, treats, and all the fun!

Mara is truly amazing. I had a flight cancelation and she was able to work with me to reschedule pick up for Sparky. She communicates very well, adapt to unexpected delays and loves your pet. I have a fenced in yard, with two doggies that will help me keep your pup company! If I am not home, I have separate quiet spaces for the doggies, since I won’t be home to supervise! If your dog is crate trained you can bring that for their stay, as their safe place! Living with my family upstairs, they help me ensure the doggies have potty breaks and extra love!

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? Does your doggy have up to date flea drops? Is your dog up to date on all vaccinations? Does your pup have any infections, that could potentially spread to other dogs? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? Should another clients dog come stay at the same time, would your dog enjoy it, or should your pup be the only one boarding, as well as my doggies? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
Although I’ll always follow your instructions as closely as possible, I do like to have a general plan for the day. On a a day with no work, we would start the day off with a good breakfast and with a nice walk, then we’d come home and play for a while. After that, we’d probably need a nap, so we would snuggle on the couch. After that, maybe we could go to the puppy park, or go for a hike, then have a good night’s rest together! I’m very active, so your pup will be right at home with me if they enjoy the outdoors! A happy pup is a healthy pup, after all. I love to walk the state parks and head out for hikes out in the Gorge. Any quiet neighborhoods are nice as well. I just love to explore! Other then that, I love photography, so of course the pooch can join me exploring and photographing! I also love binge watching movies and snuggling on the couch.

Availability
Mornings start around 5:30a, they get love’s, breakfast, and outdoor time! I’m home at 4p, we go for a long walk, or play in the backyard! Then, dinner, snuggles, outdoor time, and bed!
