I grew up with dogs, I’ve trained dogs, and I’ve lived around them my entire life. My girlfriend and I recently moved into a small house in Santa monica with a private fenced in patio walking distance to Virginia Park. Since moving in, we’ve started looking after our friend’s golden retriever when they go out of town: boarding the dog here over the weekends, taking him on adventures, fetch, walking, etc. and have absolutely loved it! So much in fact, we’re considering getting a k9 friend to live with us full time... But until we do, We’d love to continue to consistently look after and board dogs here during the day or overnight. We both work from home, and take frequent breaks to go to the park. We have a lot of friends popping in and out throughout the day, so the ideal dog will love getting a bunch of attention!! I work from home full time, but the hours are super lose and I’m my own boss. I take breaks every hour, but don’t have a defined schedule. Grace is getting her Masters part time online. We have plenty of time for a dog. I have a fenced in patio, and an open home. When your dog isn’t getting walked at the park around the corner, playing fetch with me, or getting a million pets, they’ll be free to roam around the yard/patio, and pop in and out of the house whenever they please. I work from home, and leave town for shoots every month or two. When I’m home I’ll have plenty of time to look after your furry friend! I’ll take your dog(s) out for walks intermittently. Always in the morning and at night for longer walks, with a few (albeit randomly placed) day time jaunts during the day. When they’re home, our door to our patio is always open, so they can come in and out as they please. Dogs are allowed on our couch, and on our bed.
