Growing up in Texas, most of my time was spent with my lab mixed border collie puppy named, Kenzie. With my father being a military man and my mother being a full-time worker, I was often left alone in the house with Kenzie and while many felt pity for me, I found a great companion in her. Her and I would spend time watching tv together, go on long walks to pickup groceries, and even swim together. Whatever the situation, she was always by my side, making me happy. I would come to realize that, she wasn't just a pet to me, but a best friend and for that, I loved her like any other member in my family. My neighbors started to notice the affection that I had for my dog and asked if I would dogsit for them and soon, I found myself having a own local dog sitting business, taking care of breeds such as a shiba inu, bichon frise, labrador retriever, schnauzer, siberian husky and my toughest challenge, a chow-chow. I loved each and every dog I took care of, learning about their personalities, habits etc., every dog is unique in their own way! Upon moving to Corpus Christi, I've missed the companionship and company a dog provides, as I am currently not able to keep a dog in my residence. For this reason I come to Rover, to hopefully build relationships with dogs once more and to just have fun with them as I did when I was a young.
