Pet care experience
Experienced dog owner- I've grown up with dogs, and dog sat on numerous occasions (friends and neighbors, and on Rover). I have a 12lb Schnoodle named Luna, who I raised and trained form a puppy. Depending on your dog's needs, I can accommodate to an active lifestyle (long walks, jogging, lots of exercise and play), more sedentary lifestyles (slow sniff walks with lots of breaks), and anything in between. One of my hobbies is dog photography :) I would love to send regular updates of your furry friend while you are away. My availability is flexible so feel free to message if you're interested! My pup really enjoyed her stay with Mandy! They got out for frequent walks and even a hike! Mandy also did a great job of sending me photos and keeping updated while I was away
Mandy was a great Rover-super responsible, checked in and out on time and gave our boy lots of love.
Mandy was awesome! Ruca had the best time. I received the perfect amount of photos (aka endless photos) during her stay. She took ruca out with her to the park and everywhere else. I am very impressed as she handled an excited and energetic Weimaraner so effortlessly. Thank you, Mandy. We are so thankful you took such wonderful care of our pup!
My little terrier mix Stella absolutely loves Mandy! Not only does Mandy take extremely wonderful care of Stella while we are out of town she takes the time to get to know Stella's needs to offer her a "like home" spot to rest her head. Since Stella is high energy Mandy takes her on walks and engages her with toys which is just what she needs to get tuckered out. Entrusting your furry friend to Mandy is a no-brainer, she is a true dog lover who has your pooch top of mind, all the time.

Dog safety is my #1 priority. I am careful to always pay attention during walks, hold the lead securely, and watch for squirrels/cars/reactive dogs. In the city, there is a lot to look out for (glass, trash, etc) - and I’m careful to be aware of surroundings and make sure the dog is happy and safe!

I’d love to know your preferences (if the dog is training to heel, or ok just sniffing around). And if there are any particular sensitivities I should look out for (reactivity to other dogs, cats, bunnies, etc).
A typical day
I typically walk my dog around volunteer park, or 16/17th Avenue, a beautiful tree lined street with plenty of areas to sniff and grass patches to walk on. Typical walk would be 30 mins, but can extend if needed.
