Pet care experience
I was employed with a reputable local vet in Columbus, GA for over 22 years. I have recently moved to Neptune Beach FL. I am eager to start up my petsitting business in my new city! I love all breeds of dogs and cats.... even hamsters, mice, gerbils and snakes! I have extensive knowledge of cats and dogs. I am trained and prepared for any emergency situatuon that may arise. I can administer all medications to dogs and cats including but not limited to pills, insulin, and IV fluids. I have a very close relationship to the 3 Veterinarians that I worked with. I have been pet sitting for over 15 years and have very loyal customers. I take pride in my work and assure you that I am responsible and very reliable. I can check mail, water plants, and keep check on the house if you may be away for extended times. I have very reputable references that can be provided.

Mandy has watched our babies over 17 years. She is amazing! My dogs get excited to see her and we consider her family. Her training and expertise as a vet tech have made her invaluable and we cannot praise her enough. If my dogs had medical issues, I felt comfortable leaving them with Mandy- and we have had issues (diabetes, inner ear, aging problems). She has enabled us to travel by staying with them, and she has walked them (in our yard/play time) daily over extended periods of time while we work. Mandy is special to our family.
Mandy is the perfect person to watch your pets. She loves them and cares for them like they are her own. She is completely trustworthy, knowledgeable and always reliable. We have been using her for over 6 years and I would highly recommend her.

No breed preferences. I would like to know if they are aggressive towards other dogs. Are they food aggressive if there are 2 or more in house hold? Are they chewers? How are they with children? I have an 9 yr old daughter and she loves my pet sitting adventures if the dogs do not mind. She has grown up around pets so she is mindful of the proper interaction during the first few visits. But if they do not prefer children, arrangements can be made without her
A typical day
I live less than 2 miles from the beach. My neighborhood is small, quiet, dog friendly and full of beautiful mossy oak trees with a park. I can provide daily beach play to those who love to play in the water and have sand between their toes or nice quiet walks for those who are more laid back. My surrounding community is very dog friendly and have many "Yappy hour" events for all the dog lovers. If your dog is a social butterfly, they can tag along with me and enjoy the music, treats, and the company of other 4 legged friends! I am a true cat lover...so if I am coming by to check on your cat, he/she will get my full attention of love.....if they will let me...some can be scardy cats :) I have a downstairs that has been set up for doggy/ kitty day care and overnight stays. I only allow 1 family of pets to stay overnight at a time to ensure their safety, unless a personal kennel is provided and prior arrangements made. If your pups are kennel trained and prefer to sleep in their kennel, you are more than welcome to bring it. I try to keep to their everyday home routine as much as I can to avoid stress. If they are young, and still in training, I will continue with what they are being taught. They have access to beds for snuggles and couches for relaxation if they are they are the lazy snuggle types. I happily make my home, their home!
