I love dogs! They have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Previously I had my own dog sitting business, but now am in graduate school full-time. Your pets are an important part of your family and I want you to know that I will take care of your loved ones as if they were my own! Ever since I was a little girl I have grown up with and around dogs. In our family we've had Labs (black/chocolate), Golden Retrievers, Bichons, and Beagles. My extended family has had everything from teeny tiny Yorkie's to big, strong Rhodesian Ridgebacks, so I'm experienced and comfortable with all sizes, ages, needs and demeanors. With Rover, I've done everything from daily dog walks to month-long stays, caring for special needs and elderly dogs, and have even travelled to Chicago for a month to house and dog sit! Whatever your needs are, I'm happy to discuss how I can accommodate them. I look forward to meeting you!

I was looking for someone to stay with my dog while I was traveling. I found Mandy on here and loved her energy. She was so good with my boy, who at the time had a very hard time walking and needed extra care. I knew he was in the best hands possible. Mandy sent me messages while I was away ( Was gone for almost a month ) with updates on how he was doing. It was such a relief for me. Honestly if you're looking for a pet sitter look no further. She is an amazing person and will be your best choice !

Accordingly, all of that translates into how she handles animals, with love and affection and the joy which is inside of her. She house sat and pet sat for me for one month and my dog fell in love with her, and probably still misses her.

A typical day
We will have lots of fun walking and playing together! If you want, we can explore dog parks, trails and/or walk around the neighborhood. If you're feeling energetic, we can play with toys or my pup Nakota can join us. If you’re more low key and just enjoy people/dog watching, we can do that, too. All of your activities will be based on your needs, physical capabilities and what's available in your local neighborhood.

As of August 2023, I will be a full-time graduate student at the University of Michigan - Flint. To supplement the costs of my ongoing education, and because I love love love dogs!, I am providing dog care services within my local community of metro-Detroit.
