Hi! My name is Mandy and I absolutely love animals. I grew up with a 100+ pound yellow lab and a 11 pound Chihuahua, so I'm a lover of all size dogs, and able to handle any as well, no matter how crazy! The lab I grew up with was also a special needs dog, so I'm experienced in that field as well. I also love cats, so am happy to cat sit also. I'm an avid animal activist, volunteer at an animal shelter, and am vegan, so working with animals is a dream come true for me. I absolutely love the outdoors and am outside as much as possible, so if you have a dog that loves to hike, we'd be a perfect match. I have the ability to work from home, so if you have a senior dog that just needs some company to sit on the couch with, I'm all for that as well. Since I can work from home, my hours and availability are wide open for any of your needs. Looking forward to spending time with your furry friends!

Mandy has watched our dog and house a handful of times now. She is wonderful! Our senior dog Maggie has major separation anxiety (made worse by covid) and she really spent a lot of time making her feel comfortable. She stayed at our house and is very clean and considerate and also helped with watering and other upkeep.
Our active, verbal dogs have fallen under Mandy’s spell. They adore her. Mandy is as personable with humans as she’s great with dogs. Clear communicator. Punctual. Thoughtful. Respectful of our home while staying here.
Mandy was so amazing. We set up a meet and greet to see if we were a fit beforehand and I loved that. My cat Tuxxy greeted her right away. She came and got the key to my place the night before I left on vacation and sent me photos when she arrived and settled in the next day. She texted if she had any questions and sent photos of my baby while away. I can’t tell you how comforting it was to know that my kitty was in great hands and well cared for. Tuxxy gives her 5 stars as do I.?❤️
Mandy stayed with our two dogs, in our house, for about seven hours during the day. Our dogs are skeptical of newcomers, and Mandy was very patient with their barking and standoffishness. They took treats from her throughout the day and started to warm up to her! She even said she would sit for them again. We appreciated the photos Mandy sent during her stay with our pups.

No breed preferences at all, my love for small dogs to giant dogs is all the same. I would like to know your dog's general behavior, whether they get along with new people, other dogs, certain dogs, etc. If they have any behavioral issues you're working on, and any rules you have the dog follow (no furniture, etc) are all nice to know so I can make your dog feel right at home.
A typical day
I can take your dog anywhere for a walk, depending on your preferences. From a quick stroll around the block for a senior or special needs dog, to hiking up a mountain with your energetic puppy who never seems to get tired, I can do it all. I also love taking dogs to the beach or anywhere to swim!
