Pet care experience
Hi there, my name is Mandy and I can't wait to meet your pet! I have always been an animal lover and began pet sitting when I was in grade school. I have cared for animals of all types, everything from ferrets to birds to horses. I am very active with my dogs, we train and compete in a variety of sports and venues, but Agility is our favorite! Penny (RIP) was my original superstar... she was an AKC Master Agility Champion, two-time AKC National Agility Championship qualifier, and two-time USDAA Cynosport World Games Bronze Medalist!! Pixel is my current Agility dog and is really starting to prove herself, she also enjoys Barn Hunting and Lure Coursing. My youngest dog, Phantom, was born blind but is the sweetest boy ever, loves people and earned his Therapy Dog certification through Therapy Dogs International. He is also exceling in Scent Work! I also foster dogs for Speak! For The Unspoken, a special needs animal rescue.

Mandy is incredible and treated all three of our dogs like family. Our dogs got along great with hers and definitely made them feel more at home while we were away. I couldn't recommended Mandy enough, such a great experience.
Mandy did a great job with Willie and Levi. I felt very confident that they were in good hands. Willie got to play ball the entire time. So, he was very happy.
If I could give more stars I would! Mandy took on my two dogs in a pinch and she was wonderful! They had their own space, a big backyard to play in, and Mandy sent lots of pictures while I was away. I cannot say enough good things! I don’t normally leave my pups behind on trips, but I would not hesitate to request Mandy again if needed.
We cannot say enough about Walter’s stay with Mandy. This was our first time using Rover. She was very kind & quick to respond to any questions. We dropped Walter off & knew instantly that not only were we going on vacation, but he was too. She has 4 super welcoming pups that’s Walter got to play with. A HUGE backyard for them to run around in all day. A cozy home to snuggle in. She sent 10+ pictures a day that warmed our hearts to make sure Walter was having a really great time. We never worried one bit. We plan on using Mandy to watch Walter in the future & would recommend her to anyone!! :)

I know that you and your pet will be missing each other as well, so I am always sure to provide detailed updates with plenty of photos, and as much extra love for your pets as possible until you're home!

Being away can be stressful for both of you; I want to make your dog's stay as comfortable and "just like home" as possible! I always suggest a Meet & Greet before your stay, so that I can meet you & your dog. It also gives your dog a chance to check everything out, as well as meet my pups to make sure everyone will get along. All Boarding guests must be using a flea/tick preventative and be up-to-date on vaccinations: At a minimum, they should have rabies (as required by law) and the 5-in-1 combo (distemper/parvo/etc). When submitting a booking request, I ask that you kindly answer the following questions: 1) What is your dog's normal potty, feeding, and bedtime routine?: 2) Is your dog crated or left loose when no one is home?: 3) How is your dog with other dogs?: 4) Date & brand of most recent flea/tick treatment: 5) Date of most recent rabies vaccination: 6) Date of most recent combo vaccination (distemper/parvo/etc): I look forward to meeting you & your dog! :)
A typical day
At my house, your dog will enjoy free range of all of the furniture as well as my entirely fenced-in (6-ft privacy) half-acre yard! When the weather allows, we spend pretty much all of our time outside playing and enjoying the space. My young dogs just love to make new friends! However, if your dog prefers alone time, I have means of keeping my dogs separated from yours if that is less stressful for them. I have extra crates so I am able to provide one if your dog is used to being crated while you are away. If they are usually left loose, we can do that too - I will do whatever your dog is used to so that they are happy! I also have security cameras set up in my house so that I can check in on dogs remotely from an app on my cell phone, to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. I will do everything I can to meet the needs of your dog while providing lots of love and attention while you are away!

I work full time as a Quality Control Manager at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, which is only 10 minutes from my home, and my hours are flexible. I provide pet care services on the side purely for my love of animals and the joy it brings me to be around them!
