This is currently my only job, so I have a lot of time to go on walks, do drop-ins, and other fun activities with dogs and kitties! I am more than happy to consider last-minute services when they fit into my client schedule!

I have a fenced-in yard and a doggy door for Maggie at my home. Since Bella is partially paralyzed, I use a sling to take her out back for fresh air and sun. Due to her injury, she does use pee pads in the house most of the time. She is incontinent and has to be expressed, so I am familiar with helping special needs dogs with potty issues, and messes don't faze me! At a client's home, I love having clear instructions to fit right into your pet's routine and ensure they are safe and happy!

I truly love all breeds of dogs and cats, and I'm comfortable around a wide range of personality types. I would need to know in advance if a dog is special needs or has any behavior issues that I should account for or adjust for!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, especially if the weather is nice. If a park is nearby, I enjoy taking the pups there to explore! If I'm doing a drop-in visit, I love to play with your pet's favorite toys, and I also have various leveled interactive puzzles that help stimulate a dog's mind. I am adaptable and love to hear your pet's favorite activities and ensure those are included in our time together.

**I am happy to offer short notice/same-day drop-ins and walks as my schedule allows!** **If you need care for 3+ pets, message me and I can work with you on rates depending on services needed!** I have had pet dogs since I was around 10 years old, my first being a miniature schnauzer. I adopted my first dog as a "grown-up" named Bailey. She was a mixed lab that I had until she was 14 years old, so I have a lot of experience with senior care. Currently, I have three sweet pups! Bella is 14 years old and has hind-end paralysis and also incontinence due to her condition, which occurred in 2016. Due to her condition, I have many years of experience with special needs dogs. I adopted her as a puppy, so I have also had experience with puppy care. Maggie is my other girl. She is 8 years old and is a Catahoula hound mix. She can be VERY energetic and loves her walks, so I am used to high-energy pets as well! Our most recent adoption is Dax, our black lab mix! He is a little over one years old. He wandered into our yard as a stray in July, underweight, and needing lots of care. We put up notices to see if we could find his family and put him on a stray hold with ACPS, however no one came to claim him. Due to the overcrowding at the shelter, we decided to foster him until he could find his forever family, but after a few months we loved him too much to let him go so we formally adopted him on September 11th. I also have a separate pet sitter insurance policy through PCI (Pet Care Insurance). This policy will cover your pets and property in case of an emergency or incident while they are in my care. This coverage is in addition to the guarantee provided by Rover!
