Pet care experience
My family has had dogs my whole life. When I moved to DC, I felt like I had a big hole to fill living without a critter around. Cue pet sitting! A friend asked me to sit for her dog and I have been borrowing other people's pets ever since. I am always the first person to make friends with a pup in the elevator, at parties, on the sidewalk, and I look forward to meeting your pet next! Going out of town? I provide house sitting for both cats and dogs, as well as boarding for small to medium dogs. Taking a day trip? I am happy to provide doggy daycare or drop-in service for feeding, walks, and cuddles. Of course, I'm always willing to send photo and video updates while you're away. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding my experience or services.

Before pet sitting, I like to know the animal's routine — their walk/meal schedules, how long they wait between potty breaks, what toys and treats they prefer, etc. — so I can make the adjustment easy on them.
A typical day
My partner and I both work from home so we are able to meld for each dog's routine. We do not have any pets of our own and we only board one dog at a time (unless they are siblings). Our home is in a very walk-able area with sidewalks for long, safe walks. We also have a fenced in back yard so your pet can have a chance to roam and play freely there as well! Please feel free to pack anything and everything to make your dog feel at home. We have the room! Treats, toys, a bed/blanket - whatever will help them feel comfortable.
