Hi, my name is Mandie and I am here full-time to give great care to your pets while you are away on business or vacation. I was a vet tech for many years and have experience in animal handling and behavior. I understand your puppies(or kitties) needs as well as your senior dogs(or cats). I am reliable, attentive and affectionate to all of my furry clients. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! More about me: I am originally from Tennessee but I love the coast and the nice people here in Charleston. I am a Coastal Carolina University Alumni with a BS in Marine Science. I enjoy biking, paddling, and beach-combing with my teenage son and my 11 year old mix breed female named Loca. (My quiet hours are set from 8:30pm-6:00am so any message during that time frame will be delivered in the morning.)

Mandie is an absolutely amazing cat sitter. She took care of our 12 year old ragdoll cat while we were on trips throughout the past 18 months and never missed a scheduled visit. You can tell that she truly cares about the pet their wellbeing. We highly recommend Mandie!

I have been working with dogs professionally since I was 15 years old. First as a kennel technician, then as a technicians assistant and then finally as a fully trained veterinary technician. I have worked in large kennels with over 100 runs, as well as very small vet clinics with just a few available spots. I prefer the in home boarding setting for my own dogs and I am happy to offer that to my clients.

Anything you know about your pets personality and routine gives me insight on how best to care for them while you are away. All pets must be up to date on core vaccines and on flea prevention.
A typical day
I have a large very green fenced in backyard where dogs can run, sniff, potty and play! We also have access to the West Ashley greenway for more active and adventurous dogs. We are a fully Covid vaccinated household and we would appreciate vaccinated clients to facilitate safe interaction, just as I require up to date vaccinations for your pet. Outdoor meet and greets in the front or backyard are recommended. Hand washing for humans and wet wipes for the pups fur and paws are part of my protocol. Baths are available upon request with 24 hours notice.
