Home part-time, Active, Experienced

Pet care experience

Since I can remember, my family has had dogs. From big to small (but mostly big). I have been around dogs my entire life. My grandfather raised and bred, blue and red heelers. My dad raised black labs. My uncle raised rat terriers. We have always had dogs around from pure bred champion black labs to adopted mutts. When I was a little girl, I would sneak crying puppies out of their crates and let them come sleep with me. I've always taken on the motherly role when it comes to pets. I'm not afraid to take the alpha role and command dogs when necessary but never use physical disciplinary action (other than crating). If you are in the process of training your dog, I will follow your instructions to the T so that your dogs return to you on their best behavior. I know the importance of keeping your pets in a routine when training. I work from home part-time and try and take a short walk every 1-2 hours. I am happy to have a pal on my walks. I live in the quiet neighborhood of Hyde Park. My roommate, Brooke, is a long time friend and dog lover herself (her mom actually trains dogs!) and she may be helping me a bit. I travel year round so unfortunately, I cannot have a dog of my own. I'll settle for the next best thing - playing with your dogs and treating them like my own. Leaving their mom and dad and can be hard on pups and I aim to make them feel as comfortable and loved as possible why you are away. I love having reoccurring pup clients, as it helps me to create a relationship with your pet, which makes their stay and my job, much easier.

Our dog Bourbon is high energy and has some fear of new situations and since this was our first time leaving her with someone we were a bit nervous, but Mallory did a great job of helping her adjust. Both of our pups came back happy and healthy. We would definitely use her again!

Mallory is THE best dog sitter out there! She takes such good care of our little goldendoodle, Maya. She sends us pictures and updates of Maya while we are away (which we love!) She loves and treats Maya like she is her own. We HIGHLY recommend Mallory and she will continue to be our "go-to" dog sitter moving forward!!!
