** I am booked for house sitting for 4th of July and Christmas 2022** I offer trail runs and hikes! I worked for 3 years at doggie daycare working directly with 20-40 dogs a day. I also had dogs of my own for 15 years, a Spitzer and a Rottweiler, as well as cats and rabbits. I joined Rover in 2019 and have regularly been a pet sitter, dog nanny, and house sitter full time. I am exceptionally comfortable with dogs and understanding their individual behavior, temperament, and socializing. If your dog is taking obedience class I can continue to reinforce lessons during visits. Walks can be combined with jogs for more energetic pups. I use positive reinforcement and no pull techniques to encourage good habits. Let me know if you would prefer your dog to get more exercise (jogging) or more leisure time to sniff and socialize. For every outing I bring a first aid kit, filtered water, sanitized bowl, and emergency leash (slip lead). I also like to give a follow up summary afterward. For home visits I can play fetch, use tug toys, gentle play on the ground, and of course lots of belly rubs. At the end of the visit I’m happy to brush pups and am familiar with double coated breeds. I can clean up if they potty in the yard, just let me know the best place to dispose of it. When I house sit I devote all of my time to your pets! They stay in the comfort of their home and enjoy 2 walks a day, regular play time, and social interaction. Your home will be left tidy, mail picked up, garbage taken out, with a happy pup. I am also comfortable assisting dogs who are senior, disabled, deaf, or recovering. I have experience giving meds (pills/drops/injections), changing bandages, assisting with bathroom needs, and cleaning up after them. I bring an emergency cleaning kit for accidents. I am very thoughtful and thorough when caring for animals, I treat them like family because they are family!
