Pet care experience
Thanks to my parents, I have an extensive history of caring for animals. I have yet to meet a furry critter who has not taken a piece of my heart. While the bulk of my experience has been with dogs and cats, I am open to caring for all manner of furry mammals, cold-blooded reptiles, and our fine feathered friends! I have experience giving pets medicine, cleaning litter boxes, and snuggling those afraid of thunder storms! I will treat your fur baby like one of my own. I love taking walks with active pups, as I am fairly active myself. Have an energetic fluff monster who needs exercise? I can throw a frisbee with the best of them! Got a four-legged fur hound who likes leisurely strolls? I love snapping pictures of plants and my furry friends - I can walk that walk at their pace. Have a kitten who needs to be exhausted so they don’t pull the 3:00 AM zoomies? Let me know! I have a fish that flops on command.

You can rest assured that your babies will be taken care of with Malissa. I feel completely comfortable leaving my 3 dogs in Melissa's care and she send me pictures and videos while I'm away!

At this time, I am unable to care for pets in my personal home; however, coming to your house is no big deal! I can be hired strictly for walks, to stop in and check on them while you are on vacation and provide the love and snuggles you are unable to, feed and water as needed, and if necessary, provide any medications they may need. A typical day
If walkies are on the agenda, I would love to know about their favorite places to go! If they are trained to be off leash in appropriate situations, do they want to play fetch?? If so, I am ready to embarrass myself with my weak throwing skills - just for them ❤️ Are they more of the stroll, stop and smell the fire hydrant, stop for scritches, stop for breaks kind of walking companion? No problem! I’ll put my amateur photog skills out and snap some pictures of your favorite fur friend.

Availability
I work a full-time job, but I am available before and after work Monday through Friday. Weekends are a great opportunity for me to spend even more time with your crew. Early morning and evening walks are my favorite!
