I used to live in Lake Tahoe a few years back and one job that I had was working at an animal humane society. BEST job ever, it had its ups and downs but I am very equipped and knowledgeable with all sorts of animals! I spent a lot of time cleaning after the animals, taking the pets out on walks, having play time, giving medication, vaccinations and just loving and saving each cat or dog that would come into the facility. We primarily rescued from the euthanasia list and saw a lot of unfortunate situations that needed a large amount of attention and proper care but it was not anything that I couldn’t handle. I myself have been an animal lover all my life and have rescued every pet I have ever owned. I am currently trying to get through college so the extra cash would really help.
