I have a lot of experience with dogs of many different breeds. From pit bulls to pugs, I have my fair share of knowledge. :) I have always had one to three dogs in my home growing up. I love taking my pups on walks, to the dog park, or just spending time with them on the couch. I have had a few shih tzu’s, a pug, a rottweiler/doberman mix, and a pit bull mix throughout my life. All of my dogs were rescue dogs and had a variety of different backgrounds. Two of my dogs we got as puppies and were able to train them, the others were older and lived anywhere from 11-17 years old. Some of my dogs were extremely high energy dogs and some were extremely lazy dogs! Some needed to go on a walk once a day while others absolutely dreading exercise altogether but, I managed to learn what worked for both kinds of pups and was able to give them all what they wanted and needed! One of my shih tzu’s was blind, deaf, had skin problems and had diabetes too so, I have a bit of experience injecting medications for dogs as well as caring for pups with overall special needs. I worked in a hotel for a few years and have acquired many cleaning skills (steam cleaning, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, tile, hardwood flooring, mopping, sweeping, etc.) After the hotel, I worked at an emergency animal clinic for a bit and then did some volunteer work at the Kitsap Humane Society for a few years as well and was able to learn a bit of animal first aid with dogs and animals in general.
