Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals since I was very young and provided care for chickens, sheep, goats, horses and dogs for the majority of my life. I have lots of experience hiking with dogs as well as grooming them and have worked in a variety of different animal care settings. I will always do my best to make sure your pet is healthy, happy and safe! If you have any special requests when I’m caring for your pet don’t hesitate to ask, I love to prioritize both the animal I’m caring for as well as their owners!

Our dog scout is really shy but she loved staying with Malia! Would feel very comfortable leaving Scout with Malia again!
Malia was exceptional! She took our pup Milton on many walks, hikes, to the park and swimming. He enjoyed his own vacation while we were on ours. She also kept us updated by sending pictures and recaps of their day which was nice to see while we were missing him!
Malia was amazing! The communication was great and we were sent photos often to let us know what our pup was up to. He got plenty of walks and hikes and seemed to feel very comfortable and at home, and the best was when we picked him up he was all washed up and clean. Our dog Rollo couldn’t have been in better care ?
Was in town a couple of weeks ago and needed a last-minute sitter for the day. Malia was extremely responsive and flexible, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly with a nice little hike and photo updates. Thanks, Malia!

I would love to know how your furry baby interacts with other dogs, any allergies or sensitivities, anything you would like me to work on (commands/recall/not jumping) and of course if they need any medications or special needs!
A typical day
Depending on the size/activity level/personality of your furry friend we can go to the fenced in dog park, cuddle all day, go on beautiful hikes and relaxing walks, or we will just play all day (with breaks and hydration of course) and I will take them outside whenever they desire!

I am a full time college student, so I have to work around my classes quite a bit. That being said, it doesn’t diminish my care and attention to your pet and I will always work to be more flexible with clients!
