I had a small daycare in my home for many years and Malerie (my daughter) was always on hand to help out. She is patient, playful, kind, and fair...the children in my care adored her. Although we don't have a dog or cat of our own, Malerie loves and is very compassionate towards all animals. She ALWAYS goes out of her way (after asking permission) to greet dogs that are out with their owners when we are out and about! She is a recent high school graduate, and was a very responsible and serious student (she was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and French Honor Society, as well as a SUMMA Award recipient more than once) and volunteered many hours of her time, helping out in school and community events. Everywhere we go, people love her. I know that a dog left in her care would be in excellent hands!
