Pet care experience
I do pet care in order to, as my family like to humorously refer to it, get my 'Pet Fix'. I have done rescue pets and, upon the return of the owner, have had owners comment regarding how comfortable and happy their pet is around me, even more than they expected.

Malek did a great job of house sitting for us while we were away on vacation. He obviously loves dogs. Within minutes of meeting our two golden retrievers he was down on the floor playing with them. He communicated regularly whenever he had a question and he left the house immaculate. We will definitely use him again.
Malek took very good care of our pups in our home while we were gone for a long weekend. There were some small issues around the cleanliness of the house, partially due to a miscommunication about when we’d return home. But we discussed them and I’m confident it wouldn’t be an issue in the future. Malek is very kind and clearly loves animals, we’d gladly have him watch our dogs again.

Malek was great. Junie looked happy and healthy when I returned home from my trip. He kept me updated throughout the stay and responded to my messages quickly. He left the place clean and was very friendly. I would book with him again.

While I am unable to take any pets into my home, I always let any I meet make the final approach. I find that, especially for rescue animals, letting them determine how they approach me ensures that they are comfortable. I do ask to meet with owners for a consultation before the first time I care for a new animal, to ensure we go over details with owners as well as to ensure they (both owner and pets) are comfortable with me.

While there is nothing specific I worry about learning prior to meeting with an owner, I want to go over as much detail as possible during my Meet & Greet with a new client. Please be aware, I have Autism Spectrum Disorder, so you will need to explicitly state everything - concerns, instructions, feedback, etc.
A typical day
I love to spend time hanging around with pets. I often will hang out for at least 5 minutes after a walk to just give the dog some affection, especially the dog loves to give kisses!

I currently work Part Time, in the evenings from 4 PM to 8 PM, 5 days a week, excluding Fridays. Otherwise, I do not have any regular obligations other than Walking Dogs.
