Hey there! My name is Makida. I'm an energized fun loving individual, with a mighty love for "mans best friend". I was born and raised right here in Oakland. I have had dogs for my whole life. I have been caring for dogs for 9 years, both family pets and dog sitting for neighbors, family, and family friends. I enjoy grooming especially, and can give your dog a bath if they need it! I am very gentle with animals and will give your dog the care it needs and the attention it deserves from me. I currently have two dogs: Lil'Buddy and London. I am capable of caring for special needs pets. I love slobbery kisses, doggy cuddles and long walks in the park. I am pretty active, so if you have a high energy dog, I'll run with them until they are ready for a nap. I live near a park, so we would go and play fetch or run around with the other dogs. I am a student at Laney Community College and is studying to become a veterinarian, but as of now, I’m taking a semester off from school. I'm available all week days during the morning and afternoons, but not on the weekends. Now I have lots of free time to ensure your dog gets the love and attention they need while you're away. I'm active to make sure they get plenty of walks and I am detail oriented to make sure all of their special needs are met. I follow a consistent schedule that means your dog will not be left alone for long. I'm happy to be apart of the Rover community!
