I started working with dogs when I was 16 at a dog grooming salon as a part time job. As I got older I kept in touch with the fur animals by dog sitting for multiple families through out the year. In addition I have always had a dog. I believe dogs are more than our pets, they’re family. They deserve all the Love and attention you would give to a child. Making sure they have food, play time and cuddles are essential. I have a great personality that connects well with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am very patient and know some dogs require more attention and or physical activity throughout the day, and am willing to do what it takes to make sure they are happy!

Makiaa dog sat our 2 boxers for a couple years. She stayed at our house with them, and took great care of both the house and the dogs. She was always there when we needed her and our dogs were always happy! Highly recommended!!
I have been using Makiaa for years now, and I absolutely adore her. She will not hesitate to call me if she thinks my dogs need something or has a question. When I'm out of town and checking my dogs, she always provides a detailed outline as to what the dogs are doing, eating and their overall well being. This is especially important to me since one of my dogs is old, so I tend to worry about him more. She is so attentive with my dogs and I have complete trust that when I'm gone, they are in good hands. Literally the only person I call when we leave town.
As a dog mom of 4, with one of them being very special needs, I am very protective of my babies. Makiaa is a wonderful dog sitter! I never worry about my dogs needs being met when she is watching them. They receive their meals on time and with the proper medications (each one of my dogs has a different diet). We trust her in our home as well ~ we are usually gone as long as 10 days ~ and have never had an issue. I HIGHLY recommend Makiaa. She makes leaving our doggies behind a little less stressful.
