I’ve always been an animal lover and have had experience taking care of all different kinds of breeds my entire life. I’m looking to fill in my free time (which I currently have a lot of) and what better way to do that than having fun and loving on all the fur babies!

Makenzie is kind, smart and loving. She has one of the biggest hearts I know. For as long as I've known her, she has been a dog caregiver. She is great with dogs and I trust her to take good care of my fur babies.

I live in a basement apartment, and have access to the medium sized fenced backyard. We live in a quiet neighborhood. There is a park right across the street and very close to running/hiking trails. I have a very sweet, and playful spayed female golden retriever who is kennel trained. My kids have the same love for animals. We will make your dog feel right at home and love them like they’re family.

Is your dog potty trained? Is your dog good with kids? Do they have any special needs? What is their feeding schedule? What are their likes/dislikes? Can they have treats? I would like to know of any house rules so I can make sure the expectations and behaviors stay consistent while they’re with me.
A typical day
Your dog will have a sweet and playful doggy friend to play with at the house. They will enjoy going on daily walks to the park, playing fetch, playing with other dog toys, and running around in the backyard. They will have freedom in the house to find a comfortable and cozy spot to get much needed rest after plenty of exercise (we will allow on furniture unless instructed otherwise) I also enjoy working with dogs and training using positive reinforcement so if you’re working on certain behaviors or commands let me know and I would be happy to continue that during the time spent with me.

Availability
I am currently home full time so I am incredibly flexible! Other than taking kids to school 8-9am and picking up 3-4pm and running occasional errands.
