Pet care experience
Hello! My name in Makenzie and I’ve been taking care of ALL different kinds of animals since I was about 9 years old or so. I grew up riding horses and with that came dogs, cats, goats, donkeys etc, you name it, I probably had it! I was frequently asked to pet sit and feed multiple animals growing up. I have also worked at a few doggie daycares, so I do know how to give certain medication, mostly orally, and do know how to take care of special needs dogs and cats as well. We had dogs growing up of all different sizes, anywhere from chihuahuas to mastiffs. I currently own two cats and Australia Shepherd and they are my world!

Makenzie has always LOVED taking care of my 2 dogs. She’s always had a special area in a heart for animals, that’s why they love her so much and she loves them! I know my pets will always be in the best hands around her.

I will be able to come to your house or apartment and provide my services. Currently, I do live in an apartment myself with my animals and Fiancé, so I will not be able to board any animals. I do have an Australian Shepherd myself so, if your pup needs an additional friend, I can always bring her along! We live near quite a few walking trails that are shaded.
Information Makenzie H. would like to know about your pet
I don’t have a preference of breeds that I can take care of. I love all! I do need to know, if your animals have medical issues, such as a history of seizures, diabetes, etc so I can keep them in my notes.
A typical day
When I walk dog, I love letting them sniff around for a little bit just to get used to the smells. I find that a great way to tire them out mentally! We live near a park with some geese, ducks and a pond, so there’s always a lot of sites and smells there!

I’m currently working as a Supervisor at Starbucks, so my week is pretty full, but get in contact so we could figure out a purr-fact time to meet!
