I've been volunteering at a local humane society since June 2019 with over 100 hours of dog walking and at least 25 hours of cat care. I'm experienced with all ages, types of dogs. I have a pitbull and cat of my own. My pets are my world so I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your family member. I will treat them as I do my own and follow any instructions you have set for them.

Makenzie is so great. She was very patient with our dog, who is recovering from surgery and feeling extra threatened by new people in the house. She read her signals and understood what to do to make our dog feel more comfortable. She has good energy and could not be more kind.
Makenzie continues to be the most wonderful caretaker/ walker / sitter and best friend to my two pups. I honestly got so lucky finding her. She is attentive, patient and kind with my girls and I never have to worry when I’m away at work - she always sends the best photo and written updates. Your animals are in the best hands with Makenzie. :)
Makenzie walks my two dogs three times/ week while I’m at work and she is the best: dependable, caring, responsible, trustworthy - and my dogs adore her! It’s clear that she loves my dogs (and all animals) and I trust her completely with their care. I cannot recommend Makenzie enough - it’s scary to leave your pets with someone new- you can feel completely confident that your pets will be in the best hands. (Psst- also - she’s a mechanical engineer! Impressive.)

A typical day
The sky is the limit! I would love to take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood or a hike. I can practice tricks with them and play. If your dog needs a buddy, I can bring my pup along on our walks. Does your dog need an ice cream date? I can do that too.

Availability
I am available to walk dogs daily during the week on my lunch hour and after 5 PM. I am happy to walk your dog the whole time or take them for a bathroom break then snuggle.
