I am home most of the time and give a lot of attention to my dog throughout the day and can give attention and care to your dog too. I love dogs and the bond they have with us when we treat them with respect and love. I do not believe in ever using physical force on a dog to get them to do anything— patience and my voice are my method to rearing dogs. I’m knowledgeable about dog behavior and have experience with dog training. I have a lot of space indoors and a fenced in pretty big yard, it’s perfect for dogs. Right now I am only taking one dog at a time, or two dogs from the same household. I have two cats (brothers) that are good with dogs and have been around dogs consistently.

Makenzie has watched our dog on multiple occasions and is always quick to respond and sends us pictures and videos to keep us updated. Her dog Chommy and the cats love other animals and our dog Luna has a blast when she's there. We always go to Makenzie first and always will.

Makenzie is a such great sitter for cooper and lily, my two kids are getting along wry chommy very well. She took such a good care for cooper and lily. I would definitely recommend her for future needs.
Could not have asked for a better sitter. She kept us up to date with our dog every day usually twice a day or more. She was very responsive and quick to reply with updates and answers to any questions we had. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy our dog as well and we will definitely be looking to book with Makenzie again.

A typical day
I make sure the dogs have frequent time outside (unless it’s freezing, then I let them out often but not for a long duration) to go potty and play. In the house I like to play with the animals, tug of war and some tricks for treats.

I have a part time job, I work a three hour shift on Thursdays and a six hour shift on both Fridays and Saturdays so I’m out of the house those times; when I’m watching a dog I stay home as much as I can. I play fetch with my dog a lot in our yard, he loves to be active.
