Hello! My name is MaKenzie, I am 22 years old and I grew up around dogs my entire life so this is not something that is new to me! I have always loved animals so I thought this would be a great place for me to start. I have been professionally watching all different kinds of animals since I was 16, and have always loved it. I have watched all kinds of animals from pigs and chicken all the way to bunnies and reptiles. I do run my own business in Carson, WA as Licensed Esthetician. I am still able to give your animal(s) all the love in the world when I’m off! I live in a house with a fenced yard and my dog Mochi and cat Acari. My dog is a female, full sized Doberman who LOVES to play. She is very energetic so we go to the nearby park twice a day for fetch. If your dog is similar, and as energetic as Mochi, then this would be a great spot for them!

Mackenzie was fantastic with our Moseley and Mochi was such a fun new friend! The pups were fast friends and had a great time together. So happy to have Makenzie in the Gorge for pup playdates that allow us some time to do things where our pooch cannot join us, all while knowing she is having as much fun as we are!

Whenever dogs visit they get free roam of the house along with my pup! I have a fenced yard around my entire house that my dog has now turned into a race course - so perfect for high energy dogs. I do like to take the dogs that I am watching out on walks or even to the nearby park to play fetch.

There is a lot of information that you need to know before watching an animal, but importantly if your animal is on any sort of medication, or gets easily triggered by anything and wether they get along with other animals/humans.
A typical day
Whenever I watch dogs and can take them anywhere, I typically go and take them to the Port of Hood River and walk the waterfront. Depending on the location I will go to nearby recommended hikes as well.
