Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs for years, I also work at Southboro Kennel as a care taker for 30+ pets. As cliche as it sounds, dogs are my one love in life and I plan to start my own dog car facility when I graduate from the University of Tennessee. I currently work part time at a dog kennel. I have plenty of time to care for all kinds of animals at almost all hours. I have a private yard, although it’s not fenced in I will take the time to leash or contain any pet that likes to run! I love to snuggle with them, therefore, love to have them in bed or on sofas with me. I’m home most hours of the day and have a sweet older dog of my own to keep yours company. I’ve learned so much about pet care from working at a boarding kennel, I will have no problem ensuring the best care for your pup!

Makenna was great with Charlie and took him to the park to play with other dogs and have a swim.
Makenna is great with animals! She's helpful with our dog, Sami and has always had a genuine connection with her and other animals as well. Sami needs extra care as she was diagnosed with PLN at 5 years old. We've trusted Makenna (for long time periods) to follow the detailed care instructions Sami requires to keep her disease under control.

My senior yellow lab has many health issues. When she was 5, now 12, she was diagnosed with complete kidney failure. We were told she had 2 years left. However, with my family’s excellent care she has loved another 7 happy years. She needs injected and oral medications daily and lots of special needs. I care for her everyday and wouldn’t have it an other way. I will be dedicated to providing the same love and care to your pup.

Before I care for a dog it’s important I know their temperament (with people and other dogs), any special feeding instructions, age, breed, and what a normal day consists of for them.
A typical day
I love taking dogs to Veterans Freedom Park in Westborough. Here they can sniff, swim, and hopefully play with some other dogs. After, we’ll go home and snuggle on the couch. My dog and I love to watch One Tree Hill together. I will also occasionally visit Chauncey Lake trails for more swimming and socializing. Snacks, meals, and love are always packed in there as well.

I am home 24/7 most days of the week and am able to drive semi-far distances to care for animals. I am very flexible with dates and times.
