Hi there! My name is Makenna, I work for Montana nurses by day, plus backpacker, yogi, and vocalist for fun. I have ample experience caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from Jack Russells (my childhood dog) to German Shepherds, Weimaraners, and mixed breed shelter pups. I'm intentional about spending quality time with doggos, by way of making sure to cater walk times and attention levels to fit the needs of the dog(s) and their owner. My mom was a dog trainer in her professional life, thus teaching me some important skills on how to be "dog literate", if you will. Limited to home visits due to pet-free rule in my tenant contract. This was a great experience. Makenna was amazing, and was able to run with Maple for almost 4 miles! You can also tell that Makenna was very knowledgeable around animal and was able to meet maple understand her needs and deliver! I highly recommend Makenna, and will use her each week! Makenna is the best! She filled in for someone else at the last minute, so I didn't expect much as I was in a serious bind. She loved on my babies and sent lots of pics while I was away. I came home to happy dogs and a clean house. I would highly recommend Makenna to watch your fur babies!
My two dogs LOVE Makenna!!! She is always on time, communicates well, and gives the dogs extra attention. One of my dogs was recently adopted and needed some extra love while I was away for a trip and Makenna made her feel very comfortable and happy.
Makenna was great with my dog, great communication with me, took excellent care of our house while I was gone. Highly recommended, and will definitely turn to Makenna first the next time we need a sitter.

A typical day
Walks will be around Mt. Helena, Mt. Ascension, Centennial Park, and the neighborhoods surrounding the cathedral. Activities might include playing catch, visiting farmers markets (if your dog likes the social time), and perhaps a dayhike or two!
