Pet care experience
I’ve been dog sitting since I was about 15. Family friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to watch, feed, and walk their pets for a long time. I have experience with animals of all ages and experience with both dogs and cats! I love to train pups new tricks as I think it is so rewarding to see them finally get it. I also have a few cats of my own and I know bathing them can be tricky but I have finally mastered it! I love to cuddle and I am pretty active so it is easy to handle an active dog. If your dog would rather hang out inside, I am always down to shower them in love so they feel less lonely. Your fur babies will be well cared for and safe with me!

Makenna went above and beyond while petsitting my dog and cat. She was easy to communicate with, attentive, and considerate. I currently live in a house with a fenced in yard that has grass and tons of room to run for the active dogs! When it is too hot I love to do play time inside as the heat isn’t safe for pups. I also love doing training with dogs and feel such a genuine reward to see a dog learn something new. In your home, I will make sure to follow the schedule planned out for each pet which includes feeding time, exercise, medications, and so on. I will shower each furry friend in love and attention so they feel cared for while their loved ones are away. I make sure to spend majority of my time at your house when dog sitting so the pet(s) are not alone for a long period of time.

I would just like to know if your dog is allergic to anything! This helps because I know dogs stomachs can be super sensitive, as I have a dog with allergies myself. It also helps to know your dogs favorite activity and how their energy levels are! This will allow me to better understand your dog and bond more with your pup. Knowing their favorite treats, toys, and where they like to sleep is always helpful too!
A typical day
I personally really love training dogs! I am not a professional trainer but I think it is so rewarding seeing a dog finally get a trick you’ve been working on or wanting them to learn. I even do training on walks to get some mental enrichment in which means a better pup! I love buffalo park and there are a few trails near me as well that are super fun to walk on. I will make sure your pet feels loved even if that just includes belly rubs! I also will play with your animal in the home if they prefer that rather than an outside setting!

Availability
I just graduated college so right now I have tons of free time on my hands! I am pretty much available everyday a week. Occasionally, I sometimes pick a shift up at my job here and there but only for about 3 hours at a time and it is very rarely. I also am an early riser naturally so I can come over in the mornings as well. I will make sure to prioritize your pet to give them the most comfortable experience and to keep your mind at ease while they are in my care!
