Pet care experience
I've been an animal lover for as long as I can possibly remember. I got my very own dog when I was 9 or 10 and fully trained and took care of him all on my own, and I've been hooked on dogs ever since! I've owned several small critters and reptiles throughout my life, also. I'm very knowledgeable in animal care, have worked jobs involving animal care, volunteered at animal shelters, and have been taking care of pets full time for TWO YEARS now! I also have experience with training and am working on pursuing a dog training certification. I can bathe dogs & clean their teeth, and can trim nails on a wide variety of critters. (Please note, since I am offering these services in YOUR home without a proper setup, I only offer these services if your pet is patient & willing to cooperate! This helps to keep everyone safe and happy.) I have experience in adminitering oral as well as injected medications, and know the basics of animal first aid. I am also familiar with caring for animals with various disabilities. Currently, I have two dogs of my own and a cat.
Reviews
Logan was great with our kitty! We just moved to Tucson and were looking for someone who would take care of our girl when we were out of town. Logan was a great communicator and gave us lots of updates, which was much appreciated. Would definitely book again and recommend to a friend!
Thank you Logan! It was so nice to get your recaps and I knew Penny was in good hands!
Thanks for spending some quality time with my kitties. Perfect sitter! :)
Logan was wonderful and communicative!! A friend recommended him and spoke highly and he delivered!! My kitties are shy and I needed a sitter last minute; they looked happy and relaxed in the photos Logan sent me. Will book again!!

Safety, trust & environment
I always maintain a safe and clean environment for my animal clients! I tidy up consistently, and I keep any small or unsafe items out of reach. Wherever I go, I always have my "job bag" on me which includes things like treats, a doggie water bottle, plenty of poo bags, a spare slip leash, a GPS tracker, a doggie medical kit (complete with a set of trail tweezers for prompt removal of all the sharp things we can find in our desert), and more.

Information Logan M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know in advance about any behavioural or medical issues with your pet(s)! Please do not be afraid to disclose this information because you are worried that I may not accept a booking ~ for the safety of myself and your pet(s), I like to make sure that I am well informed in every situation. Best case scenario, my training experience may even be able to help! Here are some examples of medical & behavioural issues I like to know about in advance: • Does your pet have any allergies (food/treats, or seasonal)? • Does your pet have a sensitive or nervous tummy, and/or do they have a habit of refusing food while you are away? • Does your pet take any medication? • Does your pet eat things they shouldn't (socks / shoes, their own toys, etc)? • Is your pet an escape artist (slipping out of collars / harnesses, getting out of kennels, digging or jumping to escape an enclosed yard, etc)? • Is your dog reactive (towards people, dogs, animals, cars, etc)? • Does your pet resource guard (food, treats, toys, etc)?
A typical day
Whatever your usual routine is with your pet, I do my best to stick to it! I am very flexible in how my time is spent with your pet, and I always pay close attention to their needs. I love taking dogs for walks and hikes, and have been known to take especially social dogs on outings to pet-friendly locations to pick out toys or treats! Tug-of-war and fetch are always great options for exercise and fun within the home. If your pet is more of a couch potato and would prefer to snuggle up rather than play, I am more than happy to oblige! If your dog is dog-friendly and would benefit from social interactions with other dogs, I am willing to coordinate walks or playtime with my own dog(s) upon request!

Availability
Pet care is currently my full time job ~ and the past two years have been an absolute dream! Whether it's walking, training, sitting, or just dropping in to say "hello", every day is spent taking care of several furry friends around town. My availability for walks and drop-ins is anywhere from 8 or 9AM until 11PM. Because I offer late night visits and overnight sittings, I do not provide services during the early hours of the morning to avoid schedule conflicts. I do accept same-day and/or urgent bookings when my schedule allows (I especially do my best to be accomodating for regular clients), but advance notice can help ensure your pet(s) get the care that they need in the case that I am not available. During the summer vacation months (late June to late August) and holiday season (late October to early January), advance notice is especially appreciated as I can book up pretty quickly during these times of year.
