Pet care experience
I’ve had at least three dogs my whole life. I’ve cared for little dogs big dogs, and everything in between! I’m use to all the care needed to keep pets happy and healthy.

Makena is seriously wonderful ☺️ she is so responsive and sweet to our pups! We felt secure with Makena watching the dogs and our house. It was nice not to worry about them while we were gone!
Makena was great with my dog and cat!! Even stayed over her time when she could to love on them even more!! She was great at communicating, punctual and sent me lots of photos! I highly recommend her!!
Makena gave me such peace of mind as I was out of state for a funeral. She sent photos and was so active with my pup and two kitties. Very respectful of my home. I can’t recommend Makena enough for any pet needs! I will 100% be utilizing her services again.

I have an electric fence that my dogs are well trained on. They are also leash trained so I take them on walks as needed, but they have a very big yard to play in all day.

A typical day
I love to play and run with dogs around the yard if possible, and I like to go on fun walks where the dog can find lots of new smells! I also like to stimulate them mentally by either giving an enrichment toy, or teaching dogs new commands.

Availability
I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I can also work remotely, depending on my work week, so I’m very flexible with my hours during the week. I’m also able to spend the night Friday-Sunday if needed.
