I have several years of pet sitting experience under my belt, as well as over five years of personal experience with a variety of animal breeds and sizes. I have cared for dogs large and small, cats, reptiles, rabbits, other small mammals, and sugar gliders. I have experience caring for and walking large and/or high energy dog breeds, including cattle dogs, huskies, and malamutes. I am a responsible pet sitter and walker who will ensure your furry friends are safe, loved, and having a great time while you are away!

Makayla housesat for us the last 7 days, taking great care of our house and 2 dogs. Did a fantastic job! It's always a little nerve-wracking turning the keys to your house and pets over to someone you don't know, but we have complete faith in Makayla to sit for us again.
Makayla was wonderful! She took great care with our dogs and cat and was so clean and respectful of our home. This was our first time having a non family member house/pet sitting and she was amazing!

I ask that pet parents leave a list of instructions on how to care for their fur babies. I find that pets are much more relaxed if their routine is followed, even when pet parents are out of town. I do frequent check ins for animals that I do drop ins for, and usually spend a couple hours with the animal per drop in, depending on their social and emotional needs. For pet sitting, I prefer to stay in the clients home as much as possible during the day. I can care for any plants or housing needs that may need maintenance while you are away.

A typical day
I like to incorporate as many of your pets favorite activities into the day. Whether that be a nice day hike, a sprinkler in the backyard, or just some tummy rubs on the couch.

Availability
During the summer, I am available most days for drop-ins, walks, or pet sitting. During the school year I am available after 3 PM on the weekdays or anytime on the weekends. I usually work every Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 8 PM, though.
