My name is Makayla, I’m 22 and a stay at home mom with my own pet services business. I have had a passion for animals ever since I was a kid, and that passion has helped shape my career. I am prepared to show your pups and/or kitties a loving and fun time. We have a doggy park in our development and live close to lake Hickory and all the parks accompanying it. Willing to take the dogs out as often as needed as I’m home all day! I am willing to accommodate for special needs and administer any needed medications. I am less than 10-15 minutes away from the Emergency animal hospital in case of any unforeseen emergencies and I have been trained in dog and cat first aid and CPR so rest assured your babies will be in the best hands! I also have plenty of toys and other activities to keep your doggies occupied and happy. I love to go on runs and walks through the parks in hickory so dog walking is right up my alley. I have a caring, loving and fun personality that your dogs/kitties will enjoy time and time again. Your fur baby will always have a new an exciting journey awaiting them in their stay with me! 💕

AMAZING! I’m a tough cat mom with lots of questions and I worry about my girl! She did wonderfully making me feel like she would take care of her and she did. Definitely would recommend!
Makayla was fantastic! She went above and beyond to make sure my fur babies (cats) were happy and well cared for during her drop in visits. Would absolutely recommend and will book again!
Makayla did a wonderful job making drop-in visits to visit my two cats when we went on a trip for the holidays! She sent pictures and updates often! Highly recommend to those who need a pet sitter!

if I ever do leave I have a doggy playroom to keep them occupied- this would be their own personal bedroom/playroom in my home full of toys, cozy rest spots. I also have a super friendly pup of my own that really enjoys meeting new friends and will keep your pet(s) company. Pets will have plenty of enrichment opportunities from a dog obstacle course to walks around the park and fun at home toy activities.

I’m open to any and all animals! I love making new fur friends and I’m willing to accommodate for any special needs an animal may have to create the safest and happiest stay possible for them! Please let me know if they have any medicine they take regularly, whether or not they are potty trained, or if they have any injuries or physical limitations I should be aware of. I’d also like to know a bit about their personality and temperament: What are their favorite toys? How well do they get along with other animals and children? Any fun quirks to their personality or neat tricks they love doing?

My apartment has a dog park with training obstacle courses fenced in. Also minutes away from the parks and lake so there are many great activities to do with your pups close to my home.
