Pet care experience
I have over 15 years of dog care experience. I also have experience caring for both large and small animals (such as horses, goats, rabbits, ferrets, parrots, cats, and dogs). Riding and caring for horses for 7 years, I helped with feeding and barn chores on a daily basis. I’m work at PetSmart as a Dog Trainer and have a semiflexible schedule. I am also passionate about rescuing and caring for homeless pets, three dogs in my home are rescues and we adore them. I have a total of 5 dogs, including two Labrador/Corgi mixes, we also have three rescue pit mixes, one of them being a former stray that we found and gave a loving home. From a young age I have had an unspoken connection with animals and spending time with them is my greatest joy!

Makayla did a great job with my puppy Lyla. She arrived timely each day and sent me a cute picture of Lyla sleeping after her walk one of the days. I would highly recommend this young lady to anyone. She has a natural way with animals and is very good with them.
Makayla was great with my two energetic pups. She came over beforehand for a meet and great, and to go over details. My dogs took to her immediately. She was always on time, sent updates, and pictures! I would highly recommend her!
MaKayla was punctual and great with Mya! She has taken care of our five dogs when we have gone on vacation and did a fabulous job! A natural with animals!
MaKayla would be an excellent addition to Rover.com. She has also loved animals starting at a very young age. She's helped me with my dogs on multiple occasions. Anything from taking the dogs for a walk to staying overnight to take care of them. She's upbeat and responsible. She has a great connection with dogs.

Unfortunately, I am unable to have clients bring their pets to my home. I have a full house of five dogs, so I can only come over to their place for overnight stays and drop-in visits.

We could go for walks in neighborhood or nearby park, we can play fetch, work on commands and tricks, do feeding time, and lots of cuddling!

I am working towards having a full-time position at work, but I can still make time for your pet care needs. If I am unavailable, I have other family members that could help out as well.
