Pet care experience
From a young age I have always worked with families helping them raise their children, and pets. I have done everything from dog walking, bathing, and raising my own pup. I also am very active and love outdoors so I encourage longer walks with pets. I have no problem engaging with more than one dog at a time, I have plenty of energy for all! Patience is very important to me, as you should always listen to your pet and give them time and love. I am skilled with gauging what a dog might need. If the dog is low energy I can help them to be playful and if the dog is very high energy I can help to ground them and slow down a bit. Childcare and pet care have been my life since I was 12 years old and I love it. Every time I host for a new family I treat it as if it’s my own with full, nurturing attention.

Great experience leaving our pooch (7 month old bulldog) with Makayla for a week while we were out of town. Excellent communication the whole time, and our pup came home relaxed and happy. We'll definitely reach out to Makayla next time we need a dog sitter!
Makayla was an awesome sitter!! It was our first time leaving or 12 year old Boston Terrier with a sitter and by the way she looked in the photos Im sure she was happy and well taken care off !!! ?????
Makayla is great with dogs. My dogs liked her right away. She is very responsible and timely. She gave my dogs long walks. They were very happy.
Makayla is great! Our pup, Viktor, had a great time with her. Lots of love and walks and hikes. He is a bit spoiled now. Good communication, lots of pics and updates. We would happily ask her to watch our pup again.

My apartment is spacious for lots of play, but also quiet so the dogs can nap and relax. The dog area is nice because they can run around freely off leash in the fenced in park. The dog park is right on my property.

A typical day
I have options for fetch with dog friendly balls. We will go for a long walk at least once in the morning and at night with a potty break at lunch. The dogs will play and nap and be given treats if allowed by their owner.

I work from home. I walk my dog at least 3 times a day and that includes play time in our fenced in dog area. There is also a doggy pool where my pup will play in the water.
