Hi! I’m Makayla and I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was in younger. I was known as the animal lover aka pet sitter of the neighborhood growing up. I can do walks, runs, hikes, or just drop in for a potty break and some play time! I will also do overnight stays in your home with a little bit of notice. Details can be discussed when contacted. I tried Rover about a year ago when I lived in Colorado, but started a full-time job shortly after so I took a hiatus. However, I am back and hoping to use my experience to do something I love while I have some free time!

Makayla was amazing! I almost don't want to leave a good review so I can have her all to myself. My dogs loved her and I know they got a lot of attention. They are not the easiest to walk together and she made it happen. She also gave them individual attention and that was great. I don't trust many with my dogs and I felt completely at ease knowing Makayla was taking care of them.

I have had multiple dogs in the past, but unfortunately, I do not currently have one right now. So, there will be no problem with other dog interaction when I am taking care of yours! I prefer to use a leash unless the owner is confident that their doggo does not need one. I will also be cautious and make sure I avoid other dogs on walks just in case. I will ensure your pet is safe and loved for as I will take care of them how I would want my own pets to be taken care for!

It’s always good to know as much as possible about your dog ahead of time (medical issues, allergies, triggers, routines, likes/dislikes, etc.) so that I can provide the best care I can. Please inform me through Rover and in person!
A typical day
I run or hike everyday so if that is something you are interested in for your dog, we can definitely do that. A good walk is always great too! We will play lots of games and I have multiple places I like to go to depending on the activity.

Availability
I have a work schedule from 7 am-2:45 pm so my evenings are very free during the week. I am also available during the weekends when I am not traveling or already pet sitting!
