Pet care experience
I’ve always had a love for dogs, both big and small. I grew up wth five fur babies of my own, four labs (2 yellow, 1 black, 1 chocolate) and an Akita, but I also have my own baby - a rescued lab mixed named Crosby! I also have a job working at a training/boarding facility, Bradley Phifer Dog Training. Working there has given me a lot of new experiences ranging from senior dogs, and puppies as young as 2 months old. I do have simple training skills from the doggy daycare part of my job, and I use these methods as frequently as I can, with all dogs I meet. I’ll always love your puppies as if they were my own, and will always give them the best care possible. Hope to meet them and you very soon!

Makayla is awesome! I have two large dogs that are not always the best behaved but Makayla knows exactly how to handle any situation they put her in. Very positive and punctual. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sitter/walker with any type of dog. Couldn’t ask for a better person to care for my boys.
Makayla is our go to sitter for our two almost two yrs old Weimaraners. She’s so good with them and they get so excited to see her! We don’t trust very many people with them because they’re like our kids, but she’s always taken great care of them! We would recommend Makayla to any pet owner. She has a way with animals, but particularly with dogs. From feeding our pups breakfast or dinner or playing with them in the backyard, she always makes sure they’re taken care of on her watch!

I’d love to know if they have any previous dog or people reactivity for both their safety and others around them! Also knowing their veterinarian in case of emergencies would be nice, too. All dogs have a special place in my heart and I get along with those big and small!
A typical day
I’d like to keep the dog around the neighborhood unless requested otherwise. I want to make sure they’re in a familiar area where they feel as comfortable and safe as possible!
