Pet care experience
I am currently in away mode. Hello! I have been an active Rover sitter since March 2018. I do have another part time job, so my availability is not as open as it used to be, but I will do as I can! I have 3 dogs of my own and have never known a day without at least one in my life. Throughout my life, I have had a rescue dog, a senior dog, a dog with anxiety, and a dog with medical conditions, so I am comfortable with dogs of diverse temperaments, needs, and energy levels. I have experience in dog sitting from a few years ago and wanted to get back into it since I have a heart bursting with love for our sweet companions! I will gladly schedule a playdate (free of charge) to meet your dog and become acquainted before starting the job! I want the dogs to be comfortable with letting a new person into their territory. A comfortable dog is a happy dog!

Makayla always does a wonderful job with Charlie and Frodo!
Makayla is awesome! She takes such good care of our pups and we feel at ease when we are away from them knowing she’s there. She also was able to help out with short notice, is flexible, and goes above and beyond!
MaKayla did a great job with Frodo and Charlie. They were calm and happy when we arrived home. She kept us informed, sent photos, gave Frodo a bath when he rolled in something stinky, gave all their meds, and laundered the bedding. We will definitely contact her again for future stays!
MaKayla does a great job taking care of my doodles. She's always on time and provides thorough report cards and photos. My boys enjoy her visits!

A typical day
On walks, I would love to take your dog on his/her favorite route! If there is a nearby park or nature trail, I'll happily take them out for an adventure! I am a HUGE cuddler and love giving affection to all doggos, big and small! I have an available lap for the little ones or I will gladly be engulfed in mass fluff! I consider myself an expert tug of war player and can provide an engaging game of fetch. If your dog is currently learning new skills or tricks, I will work with him/her on any routine you have established.
