Pet care experience
Hi there! Ive taken care of pets for as long as I’ve been able to talk. Ive been fortunate enough to care for everything from Lizards, Snakes, and Fish, to Hamsters, Birds, Cats and Dogs! I currently have a fluffy old cat, 1 sweet rescue pooch, a spunky Hamster, 3 rude birds (1 of which speaks regularly), and two timid fish! It may seem like a handful but my pets are family, and it’s never a chore when you know everything you do makes their lives and yours whole. I have experience with many breeds of cat. As well as a lot of handling experience with many dog breeds/sizes, from Shih Tzu to Mastiff. Animal breed and size is not a limitation or factor for me.

Makayla did a wonderful job taking care of our dog. From the pictures she sent to us, I could tell that he got plenty of exercise and attention. Communication was excellent and Makayla was very sweet. I would not hesitate to book her again.
Makayla is very good with animals ,Patient ,understanding ,and fun. She loves dogs and is very friendly with other dogs she comes in contact with. Its a joy watching her play and making things for animals to enjoy !

I do not have a fenced yard, however while taking responsibility for someone’s family pet, I prefer the animal to be leashed for its safety when outside, as well as never left unsupervised. If given permission I would love to take said pet to local fenced dog parks and daily walks/playtime for exercise and to enrich their day. There is also a large lake in my yard as it is a lake house. If given permission, I’d love to take your dog(s) for fun in the water, as well as bathe/groom their coats afterwards. There is a small 6 year old child living in my home, but as stated before your pet (as well as the child) will never be left unsupervised or alone with each other.

If your dog has any special needs, problematic behavioral traits, preferences, fears ect. PLEASE don’t hesitate to mention them. None of those things are hinderances, as pets (like people) also have personalities, feelings, wants, and needs. I would just like to know ahead of time so I can prepare the safest, most comfortable, fun environment for your pets and/or any pets I may have in my care.
A typical day
A typical doggy day for my pets as well as pets in my care consists of walks in the morning and evening. As well as plenty of play in between. If your dog is a water lover like mine is, there is a lake they can cool off and splash around in on a hot summer day, as well as shady outdoor areas where they can lounge and take a break. There is also a dog park close to my home where our dog loves to socialize and meet other doggo friends. On weekends or quiet weekdays with ideal weather, we like to walk short trails at the local state recreation areas. There are plenty of treats, toys, and scratches to go around.

I recently and honorably separated from the Marine Corps and haven’t begun working so my schedule is currently open from dusk til dawn, for the needs of my clients and their Fur-babies!
