Pet care experience
Since I was young, I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs. So of course I knew I would work with animals one day. I’ve been working for an animal rescue for 3 years now and have a lot of experience with training, do’s and don’ts, and what is needed for them.

Since the first day we met I knew Makala was an animal lover. She has a big heart when it comes to dogs. Makala would stop anything she was doing to take in a stray dog and find its owner. If there was no owner she would find another good home for the dog. When Makala found out what Paw Works was she was so excited, a job working with dogs, it was a dream come true for her. Makala is not only an animal lover but a great employee. She is respectful, trustworthy and always willing to go above and beyond. I know any pup would be in great hands with Makala. Sometimes I think she loves dogs more than people. =)

I am very active So it won’t be a problem for your fur baby to get the exercise they need. I have a small 8-10 lbs Jack Russell mix who does great with other dogs but will tend to go and lay in her bed when she doesn’t want to play or socialize.

I’d just like to know If they have any issues with any animals, people etc. any dietary issues they have or need and so on.
A typical day
I go on walks/runs daily and if we don’t go on a run I’ll be sure to stimulate them by playing with their favorite toy.

I worked for an animal rescue for 3+ Years and currently work as a pediatric dental assistant. I’m looking to care for animals still with possible long term schedules but not all have to be. 😊
