Pet care experience
My name is Makaila and I am fluent in Spanish, an aspiring veterinarian student, personal dog trainer, hardworking, and extremely flexible. I’ve had pets my whole life, from toy Yorkies to English mastiffs, I’ve loved every dog I’ve met. Being in veterinary classes and animal science classes for 5 years, I can assist you in any knowledge needed about health, diet, and overall needs of your pet! I have no fear of any breed and may just have the same stamina as your puppy. Being a pet owner and student, I can also show you different ways to save money and still give you the best life for your family pet, if needed. I’ve had experience with horses, cows, goats, chickens/poultry, and pigs, and am not scared of a little dirt or staying up late.

My pets at home are working animals. They get walked/ran/worked at least 3x a week and fed 2x a day. I allow them to stay inside with me most days and I absolutely love to spend time with them doing my mundane activities: homework, laundry, cleaning, etcetera.

A typical day
I really love going to Woodward park when walking. I grew up going there with my dad to take our dogs for runs around those steep hills, to really get that good workout in! I like to teach my dogs fun tricks and may just toy around with yours if permission is given!

Availability
I am currently a full time student with breaks in-between my classes Monday-Friday where I can care for your pet while you are away! My weekends are open and available, however I do have animals of my own to care for so I do have to give them some time during my day, but am still able to give the majority of my day to them!
