Hi there! I've always loved animals and have been the go-to for friends and family that need a pet/house sitter. I absolutely enjoy meeting and learning about all breeds. I know that I'm not a licensed or certified professional so the prices listed can be negotiable. Holidays are usually no problem for me and I have no issue with either boarding dogs with me or with house sitting for you as well pet sitting. My main objective is making sure that you're as confident and comfortable as possible during your travels away from your beloved pet :) I really just want to have a side job that I can enjoy and have fun doing while helping people at the same time! :) Can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Very nice and she came at the last minute for me. She took wonderful care of my two dogs and I will use again!
My dog snuggled up to Makaiah right off the bat at our meet and greet, and he seemed calm and happy when we got home. Makaiah checked in with us several times over the weekend snd touched on the specifics that I mentioned could be challenging with my dog. She sent some pictures which made me feel secure that he was doing well. She even put fresh sheets on the bed knowing that we wouldn't get home until evening. I will definitely request her to stay with my dog again!
They had a great time! Lots of walks and cuddling on the couch, i.e. dog heaven!
Makaiah did a great job with my two pups. I received daily updates on how they were doing and she was very flexible with the pick up and drop off times. I will definitely book with Makaiah again!

Any habits or behaviors that are specific to your dog should be discussed prior to booking. Things like crate training, chewing, potty schedule, etc. are all super helpful in making sure that your pup is comfortable while you're away :)
A typical day
There is an open area field where I like to take my dog so she can enjoy being off-leash and just run freely as she loves to so much. If your pup has special toys that they enjoy, be sure to bring them!

Availability
I have a pup of my own and we spend tons of time together. She's a Jack Russell mix with lots of energy so I spend a lot if time teaching her new things and keeping her engaged. I do work full-time, Monday-Friday until 5pm, but my schedule is consistent and great for dogs who need and/or are used to a routine.
