Pet care experience
Hi there, I am currently a graduate student pursuing a masters in public health at BU. I’m from Portland, Oregon and moved to Boston about 2 years. Prior to starting my graduate program I spent time doing research for Tufts and working in the global education office at Northeastern spending a semester in Greece. I’ve grown up with high energy dogs my whole life and my family has two border collie mixes, Duke and Sox who are 7 years old. I also have a cat named Banjo who is 2 years old. I've had the privilege of frequently dog sitting for neighbors, family members, and friends and I love dogs and cats of all sizes and ages!

Makaela was a fantastic dog sitter! My dog Murphy had a great weekend with her and she even taught him how to shake and run on the leash! Makaela is an excellent communicator and sent pictures and videos of Murph through out the weekend. I really couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. Thank you!!
Makaela was great! It was so nice to know that our dog Millie was comfortable in her own home with someone looking after her. We got a ton of pictures while we were gone and our apartment was left just the way we found it.
Makaela dog sat for is while we went to NYC for the weekend. Our dog loved her!

Availability
I currently have classes on Mondays and Wednesday (late afternoon to evening) and work occasional shifts at Boston Bouldering Project which is usually only 2-3 hours in the afternoon.
