Ever since I was younger, I had always wanted to work at Petsmart so that I could play with every dog sitting in those lonely cages. Sadly that was never in the job descriptions, so my dreams died quickly ha. But I did adopt my 'daughter' (Riley) from there. BEST THING I'VE EVER DONE. I got her just after I had knee surgery, and not only did she keep me company, she was the cutest thing ever!! Since she was a puppy, she did make SEVERAL messes, but that comes with being a pet parent :) I treat her as if she were my child, we celebrate birthdays, go to the park, I even take her on vacations. I always had dogs in my family. From rottweilers, shitzhu's, maltese poodles to Riley (Australian shepherd/terrier mix) & my husbands american bulldog/lab mix. You don't have to be worried with having a pet sitter anymore. I could tell you I used to be EXTREMELY cautious leaving Riley with anyone, but your dog will have another friend to play with & if they are not social, that's okay too. :)
