I have lived my whole life around animals - I have grown up on a farm surrounded by not only farm animals but many pets such as dogs, birds, cats and rodents of various kinds like ferrets (my granny who raised me is also an animal lover). Since moving to London as a university student for 2 years I have missed the wonderful and fulfilling presence of animals - and i'd like to start again! I don't have professional experience however I have looked after pets of friends and family as well as my own - mostly larger dogs and cats. Including feeding, walking and bathing. Dog training is also one of my skills, I have trained puppies (as well as kittens) and older dogs - I was a fan of dog training shows when I was a kid. A recent opportunity came up for me to catsit for a week - and it was wonderful and has fuelled my enthusiasm for pet sitting! I'd like to think of myself as very responsible and fun, and since I have extensive experience around animals I have knowledge of behaviours and specific pet needs. I can also administer medicine such as pills. I have missed the presence of pets and recently came to the realisation that pet sitting would be a great opportunity for me - due to me having a part time schedule I could fit in caring for pets and providing a fun, loving and enriched environment and be a friend to them.
